Corrections & Disputes

Effective 15 April 2026

Our commitment

We aim to keep all statements on this website and in any audit materials we produce factually accurate. If something is wrong, we want to know about it.

Who can request a correction

Anyone can submit a correction request, including website visitors, waitlist contacts, businesses that have been audited, or their authorised representatives.

What can be corrected

This process covers factual errors, outdated information, and misattributed data. It does not cover disagreements with audit methodology, scoring weightings, or subjective assessments.

How to submit a correction request

Email hello@outerviewhq.com with:

  • A description of the issue
  • The specific content you believe is incorrect
  • Any supporting evidence or references

Review process

Once we receive your request:

  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
  • We will complete our review within 7 business days.

For complex matters, we may need additional time and will keep you informed.

If we got it wrong

We will correct the content, update any affected materials, and notify the relevant parties of the correction.

If we stand by the content

We will explain the evidence and methodology that supports the content and, where appropriate, offer to include additional context or your perspective.

Exclusion requests

If a business requests not to be included in future audits, we will add them to our exclusion list and honour that request for all future work.

Escalation

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a correction request, you may request a senior review. If legal action is threatened, we will pause direct communication and escalate the matter to our legal and insurance advisers.
